KHA Governance

The Kansas Hospital Association has a 21-member Board of Directors. They meet at least five times a year. Each board member holds three-year terms, with a two-term limit. The Board has a composition of members from all geographic areas of Kansas; all sizes and types of member hospitals are represented. The Board also includes a hospital trustee and physician member. Other participants include AHA Delegates, Council Chairs and Allied Organizations.
Our Vision: An organization of hospitals working together to improve access, quality and the affordability of health care for all Kansans.
Our Mission: To be the voice and resource for community-based hospitals by meeting member needs for advocacy and service.
Our Strategic Issue Briefs also can be found in this section.
The Kansas Hospital Association is guided by a number of councils and task forces.
Kansas has six districts. KHA's semi-annual district meetings are scheduled in each of the association's six districts within Kansas. These regional events are designed to provide information and networking opportunities for KHA members within a convenient proximity to their hospital community.
