Today, the House Financial Institutions and Pensions Committee held a hearing on HB 2152. The legislation would authorize financial institutions to secure governmental unit deposits in excess of the amount insured or guaranteed by the DIC by utilizing a public money pool and create public funds investment requirements for local banking entities.
