Remdesivir (Veklury) Approved for Use in Pediatric Patients Under 12 Years of Age with COVID-19
On April 25, the Food and Drug Administration announced it expanded the approval of the antiviral COVID-19 treatment, remdesivir (Veklury), to include pediatric patients 28 days of age and older weighing at least three kilograms (about seven pounds).
