Professional Liability Surcharge Rate Bulletin

The Kansas Health Care Stabilization Fund issued Bulletin-2026-1 to communicate changes in the surcharge rates for Fund Class Groups in Kansas. The HCSF Board of Governors approved the surcharge rates earlier in 2026, and the Surcharge Rate Bulletin was sent to the professional liability insurers of record.

FDA Survey of Small Dispensers about DSCSA Capabilities

The Kansas Board of Pharmacy reported in its September 2026 newsletter that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has released a survey to assess small dispensers' technological capabilities for interoperable, electronic tracing of products at the package level.

Board of Pharmacy Selects Platform for Drug Supply Chain Security Act Compliance

In the September 2026 Kansas Board of Pharmacy Newsletter, the Board of Pharmacy announced Pulse by NABP would be the official system for complying with an official product tracing request by the board in accordance with the Drug Supply Chain Security Act and accompanying Kansas law.
