Senate Public Health and Welfare Committee Takes Action on Bills

Nurses (Feb. 17, 2025) – Today, the Senate Public Health and Welfare Committee, chaired by Senator Beverly Gossage (R-Eudora), took action on Senate Bill 67. The legistation relates to CRNA's Scope of Practice. The bill was amended to reflect that CRNAs can prescribe medicine and durable medical equipment based on previously passed language based on APRN scope of practice. The bill will now go to the full Senate for further review.
