340B Legislation Passes Out of Financial Institutions and Insurance Committee
(March 18, 2025) – Today, the Senate Financial Institutions and Insurance Committee, chaired by Senator Brenda Dietrich (R-Topeka), took action to amend Senate Bill 284, to take out the pharmaceutical manufacturer wholesalers. The bill, which enacts the defense of drug delivery to prohibit manufacturer interference relating to 340B drug distribution, as amended was passed out of committee on a split vote, after a motion to table failed.
