(Feb. 6, 2025) – Today, the Senate Assessment and Taxation Committee heard Senate Bill 69. The committee would extend the loan repayment program and income tax credit for rural opportunity zones by five years. The committee heard proponent testimony from the Kansas Hospital Association and Minneola Healthcare.
