(Feb. 18, 2025) – Today, the Senate took up Senate Bill 63. The legislation, previously vetoed by Governor Laura Kelly, saw a motion to override the veto that passed the Senate on a vote of 31-9, and in the House on a vote of 84-35.
The legislation will now go into effect upon publication in the statute book.
