(April 10, 2025) – Today, the House and Senate Tax Conference Committee members met to discuss outstanding tax policies.

The Conference Committee on Commerce and Senate Public Health and Welfare continued work on the childcare legislation. The childcare agreement will now reference the existing statute that disallows questioning of religious exemptions to vaccination requirements.

The Conference Committee agreements will likely be run across the chamber floors for a final vote in the House and Senate.

The Budget Conference Committee of Senate Ways and Means members and House Appropriations members met to agree to the standard reconciliation bill passed each session to match with current statutes and budget overlaps. That bill is contained in House Bill 2007.
