House Local Government Holds Hearing on Bill Allowing Counties Access to Fight Addiction Fund
(Jan. 30, 2023) – Today, the House Local Government, chaired by Representative Emil Bergquist (R-Park City), heard House Bill 2082. HB 2082 allows counties to create a code inspection and enforcement fund and expands the county equipment reserve fund to include electronic technology; allows counties to create a municipalities fight addiction fund for the expenditure of opioid settlement monies received pursuant to the Kansas Fights Addiction Act.
