(Feb. 13, 2024) - Today, the Senate Local Government Committee met, chaired by Senator Carolyn McGinn (R-Sedgwick) to have a continued discussion on
Senate Bill 384. The committee discussed an amendment agreed to by the parties that would allow the Emergency Medical Services Board to grant certain permanent variances from rules and regulations to allow for less operators and adds EMS reporting requirements. The bill, as amended, was recommended favorably for passage. It will now go to the Senate floor.
