Special Session Concludes Passing Two Bills
Today, the Kansas Legislature met in a 2024 Special Session, called by Governor Laura Kelly, to deal with state tax reform policy. The tax policy is contained in SB 1. The House and Senate then took up the Star Bonds legislation in HB 2001, designed to provide an avenue for the recruitment of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals.
