House and Senate Run Conference Committee Reports Ahead of First Adjournment
Today, the House and Senate are expected to reach final agreements on Conference Committee Reports on bills that have passed both chambers.
 

Property Tax Constitutional Amendment Reconsidered and Passed by Senate, Fails in the House
Today, the Senate saw a motion to reconsider the Senate Concurrent Resolution 5011, a constitutional amendment to section 1 article 11 of the Constitution of the state of Kansas; relates to property taxation; limits valuation increases for real property. The bill received 26 votes, failing to meet the two-thirds majority needed to pass. 
 

State Budget Complete and Slated to Run Through Chambers
The State Budget contained in CCR on Senate Bill 125, was brought up for a vote in the House and Senate chambers today.
