Today, the Senate Public Health and Welfare Committee held hearings on SB 82 and SB 88, worked on SB 29 and took final action on SB 126.

Today, the House Appropriations Committee worked through the last of the agency budgets, including the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services.

Today, the Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing on SB 127, which expands the hearsay exception for statements made to all health care providers.

House Passes Bills Ahead of Incoming Weather
Today, the full Kansas House reviewed and took action on HB 2027, HB 2085 and HB 2092 ahead of the incoming weather. These bills will now go to the Kansas Senate for further review. Most legislative committees plan to meet on a limited or remote basis because of the incoming weather.
