Today, the Senate Public Health and Welfare Committee heard HB 2170, HB 2307, took final action on HB 2075 and approved the nominations for Maureen Mahoney and Don Hall.
 

Senate Federal and State Affairs Hears E-Verify Bill
Today, the Senate Federal and State Affairs Committee held a hearing on SB 196. 
 

Senate Judiciary Hears Constitutional Amendment on Rules and Regulations
Today, the Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing on HCR 5008. The legislation proposes a constitutional amendment to provide for legislative oversight of the rules and regulations adopted by the executive branch agencies and officials. 
 

House Health and Human Services Works Provider Assessment Bill
Today, the House Health and Human Services Committee added HB 2250, HB 2386 HB 2397 and HB 2399 into House Sub for SB 126 and recommended it as amended be passed. The committee also held a hearing on SB 175 and worked HB 2236.

Senate Takes Final Vote on Judge Selection Amendment
Today, the Kansas Senate took final action on SCR 1611.

House Commerce Takes Action on Nursing Bill
Today, the House Commerce Committee recommended favorably for passage HB 2392.
