(June 7, 2024) – Two new resource documents have been added to the
KHA regulatory page for
Critical Access Hospitals and
prospective payment system hospitals. The documents compile 2024 survey citations using the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services database for Region VII. Using Region VII provides a much broader picture of what deficiencies surveyors are citing during accreditation, complaint and validation surveys for the states of Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa. These documents will be updated quarterly, or semi-annually, depending on the frequency of CMS updates to the survey database.
