KHA Workers' Compensation Fund, Inc., is a taxable workers' compensation pool operated by the Kansas Health Service Corporation. This fund was formed in 1991. It is organized in accordance with the workers' compensation statutes of the State of Kansas.KHA Workers' Compensation Fund's primary objective is to provide moderately priced workers' compensation insurance to Kansas Hospital Association members. Customer service is enhanced by the Fund Administrator and Safety Program Manager.

2024 Health Equity Innovation Award Call for Nominations Due Aug. 2

KFMC (Aug. 2, 2024) – KFMC Health Improvement Partners has announced the second annual Health Equity Innovation Award. The award recognizes organizations, affiliated groups, partnerships or individuals that have developed and implemented novel approaches, strategies and interventions aimed at reducing health disparities and promoting health equity in their community. Award winners think outside the box, challenge existing systems and implement creative solutions to ensure everyone has a fair and equitable opportunity to achieve optimal health. Organizations or individuals may submit a nomination for themselves or a third party by Friday, Aug. 2, 2024. Nominations will be judged by independent evaluators from multiple sectors impacted by health disparities and inequities. The award will be presented at the Kansas Health Equity Summit on Oct. 30, 2024, in Wichita.
