(Mar. 22, 2024) – The
Medicare Learning Network guidance on health equity services, covered under the 2024 physician fee schedule, is now available. Services, such as caregiver training services and community health integration, are now covered under the physician fee schedule. The 2024 physician fee schedule final rule has four covered services related to health equity and social determinants of health. These include caregiver training services, social determinants of health risk assessment, community health integration and principal illness navigation.
