Pioneer Health Network Board Meeting - April 2

PHN is a consortium of 22 hospitals serving over 150,000 people in Western Kansas. Its central office is located on the campus of St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. The purpose of the Network is to provide a mechanism for its members to collaborate and pool resources. PHN partners with various organizations and agencies to leverage economies of scale to bring added value to its members.

Sunflower Health Network Board Meeting - April 3

The Sunflower Health Network is a not-for-profit organization that consists of 26 counties located primarily in North Central and North West Kansas. Sunflower Health Network's (SHN) specific purpose is to improve the population's health status. The 26 member hospitals, in conjunction with their medical staff, have developed a network that fosters cooperation and coordination. The priority has been to enhance the integration of health-related services among the SHN member communities.

Don't Leave Your Story Untold! Enter AHA's Foster G. McGaw Prize Competition

AHA Logo (March 21, 2025) – The Kansas Hospital Association knows how much Kansas hospitals and health systems improve community health and well-being through leadership and community partnerships. KHA encourages you to apply for AHA's 2026 Foster G. McGaw Prize. Applications are due noon Central, Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Download the 2026 Foster G. McGaw Prize Competition flyer and apply today!

The Prize honors hospitals and systems that demonstrate a strategic approach to community health. Organizations should show alignment between community health needs and co-designed initiatives; collaboration with a broad range of community organizations; improved access to care; and attention to societal factors that influence health.

The annual award honors one winner with $100,000. Up to three finalists are awarded $10,000. The awards will be presented at the AHA Leadership Summit, Denver, CO in July 2026.
