(March 14, 2025) – The funds for the Medicaid enhancement payments for the fourth quarter of 2024 will go to the MCOs today, and hospitals should begin receiving payments next week. In addition, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services approved the distribution of the 2024 uncompensated care costs payments on Wednesday of this week. UCC payments go to prospective payment system hospitals. KHA is working with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment to distribute the funds as quickly as possible and will send out a payment amount and more information on the 2024 UCC payment date when it becomes available.
