(April 3, 2026) – DCCCA, a Kansas-based substance use disorder treatment provider, and the Kansas Hospital Association are cohosting a community of practice webinar from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on April 23. Patrick Porubski from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation will present "Drug Testing and Trends at the KBI Laboratory: Partnerships and Progress." Participants will learn about forensic drug testing at the KBI laboratory, trends in seized drug and toxicology data, polysubstance use patterns and opportunities for cross-community collaboration and data sharing. Funding from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment has allowed DCCCA to offer continuing education credits at no cost to physicians, nurses, behavioral health professionals and social workers.
