(Jan. 30, 2025) – Challenges with interfacility transfers by emergency medical services agencies often stem from a lack of training. Starting this year, Wichita State University Tech in Wichita has been awarded grant funding from the Patterson Family Foundation to provide free courses for EMR, EMT and AEMT personnel in Kansas, starting in 2026. Refer to the WSU Tech brochure for more information. They will bring the education, materials and supplies to your community. Please, share this information with your local EMS agency.
For questions or assistance, contact Meghan Graham, WSU tech program director, Emergency Medical Service Program at mgraham7@wsutech.edu.
