Education and Updates from KCMHC

KCMHC Logo (May 1, 2026) – The Kansas City Metropolitan Healthcare Council is a partnership between the Kansas and Missouri Hospital Associations, representing about 40 hospitals in the bi-state region. The Council is pleased to welcome Stormont Vail Health in Topeka as a new member.

KCMHC convenes health care leaders for timely, practical learning and relationship-building opportunities. This article lists upcoming events, and below is information on several networking forums taking place soon.

At The Roasterie, 1204 W. 27th St., Kansas City, MO, KCMHC is hosting networking forums at 8 a.m. on May 12 for strategic planning leaders and at 8 a.m. on May 13 for chief operating officers. These forums offer opportunities for peer connection, collaborative problem-solving and discussion of emerging organizational challenges.

KCMHC is also offering an all-day educational session, "Getting Things Done," on May 14 at Liberty Hospital, 2525 Glenn Hendren Dr., Liberty, MO. The event will focus on productivity, prioritization, and execution skills that support leaders and teams navigating an increasingly complex health care environment. Through these targeted programs, KCMHC remains committed to strengthening leadership capacity, collaboration and operational effectiveness across the Kansas City region. The cost to attend is $75.
