(May 1, 2026) – Governor Laura Kelly has proclaimed this week as Apprenticeship Week in Kansas to celebrate major milestones achieved throughout the state, including a 228 percent increase in employer participation in registered apprenticeships. For the last four years, health care apprenticeship programs have been a key driver of this significant increase.
