Health Equity Innovation Award – Submit Nominations by Aug. 2
KFMC (July 12, 2024) – The Kansas Foundation for Medical Care Health Improvement Partners has announced the second annual Health Equity Innovation Award. The award recognizes organizations, affiliated groups, partnerships or individuals who have developed and implemented novel approaches, strategies and interventions to reduce health disparities and promote health equity in their community. Award winners think outside the box, challenge existing systems and implement creative solutions to ensure everyone has a fair and equitable opportunity to achieve optimal health. Organizations or individuals may submit a nomination for themselves or a third party by Friday, Aug. 2, 2024. Nominations will be judged by independent evaluators from multiple sectors impacted by health disparities and inequities. The award will be presented at the Kansas Health Equity Summit on Oct. 30 in Wichita.
