KHA Workers' Compensation Fund Safety Seminar -Oct. 24-25

KHA Workers' Compensation Fund, Inc., is a taxable workers' compensation pool operated by the Kansas Health Service Corporation. This fund was formed in 1991. It is organized in accordance with the workers' compensation statutes of the State of Kansas.KHA Workers' Compensation Fund's primary objective is to provide moderately priced workers' compensation insurance to Kansas Hospital Association members. Customer service is enhanced by the Fund Administrator and Safety Program Manager.

Hospital Board Leaders' Program – Oct. 22, Nov. 5 and Nov. 19

Trustees Newsletter (Sept. 13, 2024) – The Kansas Hospital Association and governWell are pleased to offer members a new program designed for new board chairs, chair-elects or vice chairs. Learn about the board chair's leadership role, building purposeful agendas, facilitation and executive sessions, the Open Meetings Act, quality oversight, the board chair/CEO relationship, board conduct, board orientation, learning and development and board self-assessment.

This virtual program will include three 90-minute Zoom sessions and an optional individual coaching session. Attendance will be limited to 50 trustees. Breakout rooms will be used to connect with other trustees in their locations and similar facilities.

This program is for board chairs, chair-elects, vice chairs and board members in line to be chair. Session resources will be shared with the board member's CEO/administrator since they cannot attend the program.
