KHA Workers' Compensation Fund Board Meeting - Feb. 12

The primary objective of the KHA Workers' Compensation Fund is to provide moderately priced workers' compensation insurance to KHA members. The fund Administrator and Safety Program Manager enhance customer service. The individual pool members for each plan year are considered the owners of the KHA-WC pool for that year. They are eligible for premium refunds and are responsible for potential assessments.

Kansas Virtual Health Care Career Day - Feb. 18

The Kansas Virtual Health Care Career Day is an opportunity to hear from health care professionals in the field about their day-to-day routine and what a career in health care means to them.

KHA Health Care Preceptor Academy - Feb. 19

Our Preceptor Academy team has formed a collaboration with the Midwest Clinical Instruction Regional Network to provide updated materials, content, and support for our Health Care Preceptor Academy. Preceptors assume the vital role of orienting new staff to their roles, as well as onboarding them to the department's and organization's culture.

KHA 2026 Membership Directory Updates Due Feb. 20

2025 Membership Directory (Feb. 6, 2025) – The Kansas Hospital Association Membership Directory is an indispensable tool for members. We strive to help members connect with peers, and we need your help to keep the information current. This week, KHA members received an email with a draft of their data as it appears in the KHA database and online directory. We asked you to edit the document and provide the names, titles, and email addresses of your executive staff. If you haven't already done so, please return the requested information, including any edits, additions, or deletions, by Feb. 20 to Jan Fenwick at jfenwick@kha-net.org. As a reminder, the online and print directories are available only to KHA members.

In addition, our publishing partner for the directory, E&M Consulting, is wrapping up its advertising campaign for the KHA Membership Directory. They will contact members about advertising opportunities. They are professional and produce a high-quality directory.
