(Oct. 16, 2026) – The Kansas Hospital Association, through its relationships with The Health Alliance of MidAmerica and the Kansas City Metropolitan Healthcare Council, had the pleasure of helping to create an engaging, interactive Explore Your Future in Health Care event in Kansas City this past month. The event brought together more than 1,700 students to explore the many career opportunities available in health care. Students visited interactive booths showcasing a variety of health care professions, gaining hands-on experience and valuable insight into each career. They also connected with representatives from colleges and universities to learn about educational pathways, available programs and the steps needed to pursue their career interests. The event provided students with a valuable opportunity to begin planning for their future in health care. KHA also had the opportunity to attend the Kansas Workforce Innovation Conference, where presentations and interactive workshops offered valuable insights, innovative ideas and strategies to address workforce challenges and strengthen workforce solutions across Kansas.
