KU Announces Fall Tobacco Treatment Specialist Training
KU Tobacco Treatment Education (June 21, 2024) – The University of Kansas has announced the Fall 2024 Tobacco Treatment Specialist training will be Aug.19-Oct. 28. This course will give providers the knowledge and skills to integrate tobacco treatment into their current practices. The KU TTS training is an online training requiring about 14-18 hours to complete and concludes with eight hours of virtual skills training. The target audience for this training is RNs/LPNs, physicians, community health workers, health educators, social workers, respiratory therapists, substance use disorder counselors and other health service professionals.
