(Oct. 24, 2025) – In response to concerns raised in the House Special Committee on Government Oversight, KSBN is seeking feedback and needs regarding a grace period for nurse license expiration dates through a brief survey. KSBN would value input from licensed nurses and stakeholders, such as hospitals and health care facilities. The data collected will be reported to KSBN and the legislative committee to support potential changes to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act.
