KHA Workers' Compensation Fund, Inc., is a taxable workers' compensation pool operated by the Kansas Health Service Corporation. This fund was formed in 1991. It is organized in accordance with the workers' compensation statutes of the State of Kansas.KHA Workers' Compensation Fund's primary objective is to provide moderately priced workers' compensation insurance to Kansas Hospital Association members. Customer service is enhanced by the Fund Administrator and Safety Program Manager.

Medicaid PERM Medical Record Audits Coming in August

KanCare (Aug. 9, 2024)—Beginning in August/September, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services PERM Audit Review Contractor, Empower AI, Inc., will request medical records from providers whose Medicaid or Children's Health Insurance Program fee-for-service claims are randomly selected for review.

If one or more of your claims are selected, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment will notify you via an announcement letter. Actual medical records requests will arrive at your office directly from NCI, Inc. KDHE staff will be available to answer questions and assist you in meeting submission deadlines.
