(July 3, 2024) – Join the Kansas Hospital Association for an educational webinar at noon on Tuesday, July 9, when Tanner Funk, DNP, RN, The University of Kansas Health System, will share his experience in addressing workplace violence. This webinar will focus on how staff can best implement de-escalation techniques review core CPI principles and techniques, and review patient care scenarios. Funk will review the fundamental components of assessing for signs of escalation, the critical importance of providing proactive interventions and how we can best utilize verbal de-escalation techniques.
