Symposium to Bring Regional Health Finance Leaders to Kansas City Region Aug. 3-4
(May 22, 2026) – The Kansas City region will host hospital finance, reimbursement and managed care leaders for the Midwest Managed Care Symposium on Monday, Aug. 3, and Tuesday, Aug. 4. The two-day gathering is designed to help hospital teams navigate a rapidly changing payer landscape and strengthen financial sustainability amid growing complexity.
This forum for collaboration and shared learning is supported by the state hospital associations in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas. As payer dynamics shift because of regulatory changes, price transparency requirements and evolving reimbursement models, the symposium offers timely insights and practical tools for hospital leaders responsible for financial performance and payer relationships.
The agenda will feature sessions on payer strategies, price transparency, federal policy updates and financial experience in health care. To foster candid discussion and meaningful peer exchange, attendance is limited to hospital staff. Vendors and consultants may participate only as invited speakers.
Attendees are encouraged to register early. A room block is available at the Hyatt Place Kansas City/Lenexa City Center. Reserve your room by Monday, July 13, using group code G-KSHA.
