Hospital Board Leaders’ Program, Session 1 - Oct. 29

The Kansas Hospital Association and governWell are pleased to bring KHA members a program specifically designed for new board chairs, chair-elects or vice chairs. Learn about the board chair’s leadership role; how to build purposeful agendas; facilitation and executive session; the open meetings act; quality oversight; the board chair/CEO relationship; board conduct; board orientation, learning and development; and board self-assessment.

KHA Board Meeting - Nov. 3

KHA has a 21-member board of directors. They meet at least five times a year. Each board member holds three-year terms, with a two-term limit. The board has a composition of members from all geographic areas of Kansas all sizes and types of member hospitals are represented. The board also includes two hospital trustees and two physician members. Other participants include the American Hospital Association delegate.

KHSC Board Meeting - Nov. 4

KHSC is a wholly owned subsidiary of KHA. Therefore, a secondary objective of KHSC is to support KHA in meeting its mission of serving hospitals. Its mission is to provide enhanced value to KHA members by evaluating and endorsing selected vendors of services needed by the KHA membership. KHSC will be a valuable resource to Kansas healthcare facilities and the Kansas Hospital Association as they serve their constituents.

careLearning Informational Webinar – Nov. 24

careLearning3 (Oct. 23, 2026) – The Kansas Hospital Association, along with other state hospital associations, offers careLearning, a web-based online educational tool for member hospitals.

Hospitals all over the country utilize this cost-effective learning solution to ensure all employees have required Regulatory Training as well as access to hundreds of healthcare-related courses. Users can create an unlimited number of facility specific courses and manage instructor-led meetings, and automatically track and report upon with a few quick clicks in the system.
