Controlled Substance Retail Pharmacy Dispensing Disruption in Reno, Sedgwick and Harvey Counties

KHA has been notified by KDHE of a disruption in retail pharmacy dispensing of controlled substances affecting patients of several pain management providers in Hutchinson, Park City and Wichita.

KHA Public Perception Campaign – Champions Together

This campaign highlights teamwork, unity and achievement among hospitals and providers as we put patients first. ChampionsTogether.org, features videos and stories from across Kansas. A Champions Together Member Toolkit includes resources for member participation.

Hospital Clinical Lab Fee Schedule Data Is Due to CMS by July 31

Applicable laboratories are required to report specific data to CMS by July 31, 2026. Laboratories that fail to submit required data by 10:59 p.m. on July 31, 2026, may be subject to a civil monetary penalty.

Implementation of Kansas Consumer Prescription Protection and Accountability Act

The Kansas Department of Insurance has issued two guidance documents on the implementation of SB 20. SB 20 was signed into law on April 9, 2026, establishing the Kansas Consumer Prescription Protection and Accountability Act.
