KHA fall District Meetings are something I look forward to each year. It is an opportunity for us to meet face-to-face and discuss important and timely issues but even more important is the opportunity for us to plan for the future.

QHi Back to Basics Training Session – Focus on Financial Reporting – Oct. 1
This session will focus on a review of data entry options for financial measures. This will include a walkthrough of the QHi Financial Statement Upload process.

Reimbursement Form for Involuntary Patient Holds New Updated Link
In 2023, KHA worked with the legislature to pass a program allowing reimbursement to hospitals for round-the-clock patient observation and the transportation costs of involuntary admission of patients to state hospitals.

CNA Course Time Limit Clarification from KDADS
This week, KDADS clarified time limits for classroom time versus clinical time in CNA programs.

KHA HIDI Advantage Optics Update and HIDI Academy Learning
Advantage Optics, the online reporting tool accessed from the HIDI Advantage User Portal, was updated with the July 2024 data and now contains October 2018 – July 2024 inpatient, outpatient and emergency department discharges.
