(July 17, 2024) – This year's Kansas Hospital Association Annual Convention and Trade Show kicks off at 7:15 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 5, with the KHA Political Advocacy and Grassroots Breakfast. During this breakfast, Charlie Cook will discuss today's political and legislative environments in a balanced, non-partisan way.
The keynote address, Finding Purpose through Service by Justin Wren, starts at 9:45 a.m. General sessions on Thursday include David Agus, MD, Future Health – A Vision for Personal and Corporate Health in the Next Decade at 10:55 a.m. At 2:00 p.m., Erin Stafford will discuss Escaping the Burnout Trap.
Join us at noon for the KHA Awards Luncheon. Several awards, including the Charles S. Billings Award, will be presented at this luncheon.
You will want to save time to see all our exhibitors during the trade show, which starts at 3:00 p.m. While at the trade show, enjoy the snacks and drinks provided at the trade show reception, which begins at 4:30 p.m.
We look forward to seeing you at 6:30 p.m. at the hospitality champions' party. Wear your best Kansas City Chiefs attire. There will be games, food, drinks and prizes. Our generous hospitality champions, including APS, have once again made it possible for us to offer the convention party free of charge.
The 2024 KHA Annual Convention, Champions of Change, will be held Sept. 5-6 in Overland Park at the Sheraton Overland Park/Overland Park Convention Center. Registration materials may be downloaded from the KHA website. Online registration is available. Because of ongoing supply chain shortages, tickets purchased by Friday, Aug. 16 will ensure you are included in the meal counts.
