De-escalation Techniques Webinar: How to Approach Volatile Behavior in Health Care - July 9

Join the Kansas Hospital Association for an educational webinar at noon on Tuesday, July 9, when Tanner Funk, DNP, RN, The University of Kansas Health System, will share his experience in addressing workplace violence. This webinar will focus on how staff can best implement de-escalation techniques, review core CPI principles and techniques and review patient care scenarios. Funk will review the fundamental components of assessing for signs of escalation.

New CEO Orientation - July 18-19

Twice a year, KHA conducts a CEO Orientation. This event is for hospital CEOs new to Kansas or new to their role. It's a great opportunity to meet other Kansas CEOs and learn more about the resources provided by KHA.

2024 KHA Advocacy All-Star Training

The Kansas Hospital Association is now accepting nominations for the 2024 KHA Advocacy All-Star Training. Participation will be limited to 30 attendees to allow for networking and group interaction. Enrollment will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Initially, one attendee per hospital (nominated by the CEO) will be admitted. If space allows, additional attendees will be admitted. PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED TO SECURE THE APPLICANT’S ENROLLMENT.
