Kansas has three Rural Emergency Hospitals - SCK Health in Arkansas City, Rush County Memorial Hospital in La Crosse and Mercy Hospital, Inc., in Moundridge. In the last year, three hospitals have converted to Critical Access Hospitals - Coffeyville Regional Medical Canter in Coffeyville; Morton County Health System in Elkhart; and Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital, Ulysses.
