It doesn't seem like a month has gone by since our last newsletter. I hope everyone is still well. This has been such a weird year. I don't even know where to begin.
I have a few updates for our members. Many members have yet to renew membership in KAHRMM. We are working on some ways to make membership more valuable for the remaining year and next. If you have not already done so, please renew your membership as soon as possible.
The 2021 Central Plains Expo is officially set for Oct. 14-15, 2021, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Wichita Airport. The contract is signed; and hopefully, things go better next year.
The AHRMM convention that was scheduled for the last week of July in Austin, Texas, has been cancelled. The live, in person meeting will be offered as a virtual meeting held later in the year. More information will be available for those needing CEUs for your CMRP.
Anyone with ideas for events, please let me or any KAHRMM Board member know, and we will work on that. Anyone who wanting to write or pass along an article they have read for the KAHRMM newsletter, please send it to me or Cindy Howard Reeves, along with credits, and we will use it in the newsletter.
I hope we are able to get together soon. I would love to visit with everyone! Stay safe.
