(November 2020) – As we go into the fall season, and with the holidays around the corner, I hope this finds everyone safe. Our state's COVID-19 cases are running rampant, and it does not appear that it will let up any time soon. Our lives have become consumed with the pandemic, both at work and in our private lives. I have been reading about the mental tolls it has taken on health care workers. A couple of employees at our hospital have resigned stating they could not do this anymore. Please, if you find yourself feeling down, reach out for help and talk to someone. If you need help with Materials issues, please contact fellow members for advice and help. Above all, that is why our organization exits ... It is for YOU!
After nearly 40 years, Central Plains Expo will be disbanding after the 2021 conference. KAHRMM decided to make a change, followed by the APIC group. We appreciate the years of comradery of the other groups over the years but feel it is time for a change. We have been discussing ways to move forward with the vendor show and education. More to come on that soon.
Memberships will be due soon, please renew and begin planning for a great 2021!
Thank you for doing what you do!
