Patient Education Resources for ED Use Available

The American Hospital Association and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention created patient education resources, including a pain management poster and a document outlining evidence-based information about the risks and side effects of opioids. These tools are designed to help facilitate conversations between health care providers and patients about the use of opioids, as well as alternatives.

Campaign to Stop Youth Opioid Abuse
