Sunflower Health Network Board Meeting - Mar. 6

The Sunflower Health Network is a not-for-profit organization that consists of 26 counties located primarily in North Central and North West Kansas. Sunflower Health Network's (SHN) specific purpose is to improve the population's health status. The 26 member hospitals, in conjunction with their medical staff, have developed a network that fosters cooperation and coordination. The priority has been to enhance the integration of health-related services among the SHN member communities.

The Kansas Association of Health Care Communicators is a group of health care communications professionals dedicated to improving communication with our communities, health care employees, physicians, media and more. KAHCC provides the following benefits for new and experienced communication professionals: two educational seminars; networking with peers; and membership directory; and online list serve.

KAHCC Welcomes Your Participation!

KAHCC Offers Three Levels of Membership

ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP ($40 per year): Employees of Kansas health care organizations who are responsible for developing, administering and implementing public relations/communications/marketing programs.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP ($50 per year): Individuals who work as consultants, employees or agency representatives for businesses that serve health care organizations.
STUDENT MEMBERSHIP ($5 per year): Individuals actively pursuing a degree in public relations, communications, marketing, etc.

KAHCC membership runs from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31. George Stover is the 2025 Chair of the KHA Board of Directors

(Jan. 7, 2025) – George Stover, Chief Executive Officer, Rice Community Health, is the 2025 Chair of the Kansas Hospital Association Board of Directors. The election took place during the association's annual meeting in Overland Park. Stover has been an active member of KHA and joined the KHA Board of Directors in 2018. He previously served as a member of the board’s executive committee and as treasurer and chair elect. During his one-year term as board chair, Stover will guide the 21-member gov
