(Feb. 12, 2025) – Yesterday, Governor Laura Kelly vetoed the first bill of the 2025 session. Senate Bill 63. The legislation had previously passed the Senate on a vote of 32-8, and the House on a vote of 83-35. The legislature will likely take up a veto-override attempt in the coming days.
